The Parent Aide Program offers valuable paraprofessional support, focusing on non-therapeutic intervention. This program is particularly beneficial for cooperative parents who are facing stress and are open to learning new parenting approaches. It’s important to note that Parent Aide services are not intended to address issues that require clinical intervention. Parents with a history of chronic neglect, severe child injury, sexual abuse, child abandonment, or those with mental illness or disabilities often require more structured interventions beyond the scope of parent aides.
Our program encompasses the following goals:
- Reducing the risk of child maltreatment.
- Equipping parents with practical parenting knowledge and skills.
- Providing essential resource information to support families.
- Encouraging parents to actively engage in support activities.
- Occasionally assisting with transportation to access necessary resources.
Drug & Alcohol Screenings
We conduct full-service, mobile, drug, and alcohol screening services. We are one of a few agencies in the state of Georgia that has National Certified Professional Collectors to assure that the procedure is conducted properly. We offer:
- Various Screening Methods: Urine, hair, and saliva testing.
- Laboratory Services: Federally-approved laboratories analyze and produce results relevant to negative and positive drug screenings necessary for court.
- Mobile/On-Site Specimen Collection: Travel to the client’s location to collect specimen.
- 10-Minute Rapid Urinalysis: Collect and confirm results on the spot.
