Whole Health & Wellness

In our whole health & wellness program, we apply the mind, body and spirit approach. We understand that we must address medical issues in addition to mental health and substance abuse for our clients to reach the most optimal level of life satisfaction and happiness.

Genesis Alliance for Mental Wellness, LLC partners with some of the most prestigious health care providers to ensure that our clients receive the best care possible. On this journey, our case managers, whole health & wellness coaches, and nurses collaboratively work to access external medical services, facilitate health referrals, ensure clients obtain such services, and discuss meaning of medical results, and follow-up plans and reservices.

Our whole health & wellness coaches assist our clients with setting personal expectations by introducing health objectives as an approach to accomplishing overall life goals, helping identify personal and meaningful motivation, and health/wellness self-management.

Through guidance and assistance, our clients learn to structure their path to prevention, healthcare, and wellness; partner with staff to navigate the health care system; develop their own natural support network which will promote wellness goals; create solutions to overcome barriers which prevent healthcare engagement (e.g. transportation, food stamps, shelter, medications, safe environments in which to practice healthy choices, etc.); link with other health and wellness resources (physical activity, fitness, healthy/nutritional food); and access health care through the use of technology.

We know that clients having the necessary skills to address their own health issues and concerns is pivotal. As a result, our whole health & wellness team provides supports including:

  1. Sharing basic health information which is pertinent to the individual’s personal health;
  2. Promoting awareness regarding health indicators;
  3. Assisting the individual in understanding the idea of whole health and the role of health screening;
